Haven't shopped for DVD'd for a while, but I do concur about Borders having a really good selection of CD's. It was our first stop to replenish after last year's disaster, and we picked up the "All Good Things" boxed set, along with a Dylan box, and another box of New Orleans music. My wife just loves boxed sets. Plus, the coffee/food counter at Border's has the very best cinnamon rolls I have ever eaten anywhere, so they have that going for them, too.

I don't understand the other question, though. You're getting your wife XM. Is that a good trade for what? Is this something she wants you to be discussing with your online friends?

BryanE - "I'm getting an XM Radio for my wife - pretty good trade, huh? Get it...for my wife. Like I got Fifty dollars for that old Computer. It's an old joke. Wait a few years when you're older and you'll get it.

But I do appreciate the Borders nod. If I can get out tomorrow or the next I'm going to go look at them.

deadmax-
Visual hand gesture of my hand sweeping over the top of my skull to signify how that one went right over my head.

XM for your wife, pretty good trade, ha ha ha. My wife just said, "I don't know his wife. Maybe it IS a pretty good trade."

Screw that! Only as a last resort. See I prefer INSTANT gratification, none of this waiting around bullshit. I haven't bought anything in awhile though. I'm a recovering CD shopper, seriously. Ever since ten years ago when I racked up some $ spending it on CD's I'm afraid to buy anything. I'll buy ANY Dead DVD though.

Johnny - I robbed Columbia House of all their classic rock. Just followed the rules. They are the ones who would send a new offer 1 week after I unsubscribed. AND, Rasputin's in Berkeley and San Lorenzo. Tons of used goods...

Those days are over though....if I need it, I generally go half.com, but even that's been long ago.

Heck yeah man! Up here it was easy because they DONT send you the free one you dont order because they dont want to waste the postage. When I went back to Berkeley last time I spent HOURS in Rasputins and Amobea ( sp? ) There's a place in Denver called Twist and Shout that's pretty freakin incredible.
